If they could speak to us now, what would they say to us about the state of our Fourth Amendment law? Would they be dismayed? **
In creating this blog, as in the usage of any multimedia, I took the following five most important factors into consideration:
1) Some students might have slow connections or older computer systems. To increase the speed of delivery, I had to make sure that
any graphics utilized were not too large in size or too complex;
2) Multimedia should be easy for the students to use;
3) The multimedia used must correspond to the course content and enhance the students' learning of the content;
4) The usage of multimedia should be balanced with textual material so as not to distract the students; and
5) The instructor must have an assessment tool for measuring the effectiveness of the multimedia created by the instructor and the
students.

Have you ever wondered what our country's founders would think about the current state of our Fourth Amendment law?

What were they thinking about when they protected our rights to be secure in our "persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures"? When they added the warrant requirement, did they contemplate a time in the future when there would be countless exceptions to the warrant requirement? Did they anticipate "harmless error" and "good faith" court rulings? Did they think about a future in which automobiles would be a mode of transportation and in which "exigent circumstances" would enable searches without warrants?
